Meet Lisa Powers-Vayda: your Southwest Valley Personal Home Consultant
Relentless, dynamic and passionate, Lisa has proven herself to be a loyal advocate for her clients over several years in the business and throughout hundreds of real estate transactions. Described as a tenacious businesswoman with a compassionate heart, she is the expert you want on your side when navigating the real estate process.
As a fifth-generation Arizona Native, she has been selling real estate in the Southwest Valley cities of Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear and Litchfield Park since 2005. In the last 12 years, she has experienced some of the most tumultuous real estate market shifts in the country from boom to bubble to implosion to revival. By merging old-school relationships with new-school business models, she has weathered the storm by creating new opportunities for her clients in any market situation.
Why Lisa is Different
Earning a BS in Management from ASU, an MBA in Marketing from Grand Canyon University and several Real Estate Designations ranging from the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) to the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), Lisa makes sure she possesses the knowledge to remain on the cutting-edge of the real estate curve. With a passion for marketing, she is constantly continuing her education to stay on top of this ever-changing landscape to ensure her clients have access to the newest and most-effective advertising techniques available in the market.
As the co-owner of CrossFit Incendia, Lisa is not only committed to health and fitness, but has the unique experience of managing a vibrant community full of professionals. Because of the gym and her long-time real estate experience, her network is quite large. Ask Lisa for resources from lenders to insurance agents to contractors to home inspectors to photographers and she’ll know exactly what professional you need to make your home buying or selling process stress-free.
As a self-described workaholic, Lisa is generally up at 4:30am to mediate and plan her day. As a heavy consumer of business and self-improvement books/podcasts, she is a believer in time blocking and likes to begin her day with intention before the sun comes up. It is not unusual to see emails and social media marketing from Lisa in the early morning hours, giving her clients an edge over those who are still sleeping.
Relationships are very important to Lisa. She prides herself on putting deals together because of her extensive Realtor network and reputation for getting the job done. Her repeat client list is extensive and she worked solely as a referral agent for several years. Lisa likes to describe herself as small-town girl with the skills to navigate big-city living.
Lisa attended Buckeye Union High School, which was the same school her mother, father and grandmother attended. Her family ties in Buckeye date back to the early 1940s. The majority of her family still lives and works in the area.
Lisa has been married to her Phoenix Firefighter husband, Brian, for almost 13 years. They have a 10 year-old son, Colton, a five year-old daughter, Cameron and three year-old Goldendoodle named Chloe.
When not competing in CrossFit Competitions or planning social events for the Incendia Community, Lisa and Brian are actively involved in several charitable causes. They raise money for Barbells for Boobs (Breast Cancer Research), the Wounded Warrior Project, Lift Up Autism, the Melanoma Research Foundation, Project Incendia (their 501c(3)), the Mesquite Santa Toy Drive, the 500 Club, United Phoenix Firefighter Charities, Phoenix Rescue Mission and more.
